San Jose’s MONKEY – 18 Years And Skanking!

San Jose’s MONKEY has been playing ska and reggae and with their food in the bay area and around the world for over 10,000 years. They are playing their super baddass 10,000th year anniversary gig this Friday night, January 31 at theĀ . OK I lied. It’s 18 years. But that’s still a long time. And they are a wonderful band so go see ’em and wish them a skappy birthday! Two paws up! W00f

Buster the Ska Doggie was born on July 4th, 2008 when The Uptones released their epic Skankin' Foolz Unite! album. Jesse Michaels drew Buster for the record cover and Buster leaped off of it and started dancing around. Before long Buster had amassed a massive collection of ska records and friends and has been to every single ska show on earth, usually attending at least 100 around the world, all at the same time.
